NOBIVAC® RABIES

Description

Nobivac® Rabies is used for the immunisation of dogs, cats, cattle, sheep, goats, and horses against rabies. It can be used for both prophylactic immunisation and post bit therapy.

Dogs, cats, cattle, sheep, goats, horses, ferrets, foxes and in principle all healthy mammals.
Contents

Each dose contains rabies strain Pasteur RIVM with potency ≥ 2I.U
Pack Size

One box contains 10 vials of 10 doses.
Directions for Use

  • Dogs and cats: After 3 months of age (Primary vaccination) and 3 years (Revaccination).
  • Cattle, horses, sheep, and goats: After 6 months of age (Primary vaccination) and 2 years (Revaccination)
  • Ferret: After 3 months of age (Primary vaccination) and 1 year (Revaccination)
  • Primary vaccination can be administered at an earlier age, but then a repeat vaccination must be given at the age of 3 or 6 months depending on the species.
  • Annual revaccination is recommended in endemic areas.
  • Post exposure prophylaxis (consult you Veterinarian)

Precautions

  • Avoid IV injection
  • A transient palpable nodule may occur at site of injection
  • Vaccine failure may result from numerous reasons, if this is suspected, seek vet advice.
  • Vaccinate healthy animals only
